Dean Message
<p>By the Name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Gracious Peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad (SAAW) and his noble and pure household (PBUT) The College of Education in Qurna was established in 2011-2012 to meet the needs of the local community in North of Basra region as there is a big number of students who face the difficulties of long distance travelling on daily bases to main campuses of the University of Basrah in the center of the province. Our College receives the students of the preparatory schools of the different branches (Literary, Biochemistry, and Applied Sciences) who admit to the College departments of Arabic, English, Chemistry and Biology. The College has developed by the great efforts of the faculty members and administrative staff as new buildings have been added to the College campus, increase in financial resources, and provision of all the requirements of the faculty members and scientific research devices. I wouldn’t forget to express my thanks to the Chancellorship of the University of Basrah, represented by the distinguished Chancellor of the University and his scientific and administrative assistants for their continuous support to the College for its development and advancement for the better. I am also pleased to extend my thanks and gratitude to my fellow faculty members and administrative staff for their good and continuous efforts to develop the reality of the College.</p>
